found a great joke:

Question: Why did the chicken cross the road?

Buddha:
Asking this question denies your own chicken nature.

Colonel Sanders:
Damn, I missed one!

Consulting Company XY:
Deregulation of the chicken's side of the road was threatening its dominant market position. The chicken was faced with significant challenges to create and develop the competencies required for the newly competitive market. XY, in a partnering relationship with the client, helped the chicken by rethinking its physical distribution strategy and implementation processes. Using the Poultry Integration Model (PIM), XY helped the chicken use its skills, methodologies, knowledge, capital and experiences to align the chicken's people, processes and technology in support of its overall strategy within a Program Management framework. XY convened a diverse cross-spectrum of road analysts and best chickens along with XY consultants with deep skills in the transportation industry to engage in a two-day itinerary of meetings in order to leverage their personal knowledge capital, both tacit and explicit, and to enable them to synergize with each other in order to achieve the implicit goals of delivering and successfully architecting and implementing an enterprise-wide value framework across the continuum of poultry cross-median processes. The meeting was held in a park-like setting, enabling and creating an impactful environment which was strategically based, industry-focused, and built upon a consistent, clear, and unified market message and aligned with the chicken's mission, vision, and core values. This was conducive towards the creation of a total business integration solution. XY helped the chicken change to become more successful.

2007 here I come

Wow time flies and now we are into 2007. After 2006 the year of getting a grip now 2007 the year I'll try to go back to Canada.
Also the year I'll dare to send a link to this blog to my friends and later give them the op to share my adventures.

Yesterday I dared to scan for job ads again *kopschüttel* it takes 5 minutes and you are lost in all kinds of offerings. I fond an ad for a Saley Manager for Vintage Woodworks in Victoria www.vintagewoodworks.ca and kept on dreaming about it all day. Even though the application period ended on December 22nd images of me cruising with my 4x4 pickup through the island just keep on coming. So much so that I send them an email with my CV just because - you never know.
Dennis and Arlene confirmed that 50 000$ is a decent salary too and that one can live off that quite nicely. Good thing because I do want to pay off my dept even though I'll be out of reach of the SCHUFA.
